Conditions of Hire

1. The application form must be completed and returned to the Association together with the returnable deposit.
2. Any monies poaid will not be refunded for cancellations made less than 28 days prior tothe event.
3. the deposit will not be refunded if, as a result of the hire, facilities are damaged or left dirty, agreed times have bot been adhered to, there has beenverbal or physical abuse to the Association’s personnel or any fracas invilving personnel attending the function. We request that all tables are wiped clean and stacked away as found; all chairs to be stacked away as found and that the floor is swept clean.
4. All refunds will be made by cheque.
5. The Calmore Community Association will accept no liablity for damage or loss of property or injury to persons arising from the use of the facilities or grounds.
6. The charges are subject to change by the Association and all increases must be met by the applicant.
7. The applicant is responsible for controlling access to private functions, is requested to issue tickets ( stating the name of the function ), and provide adequate supervision.
8. The C.C.A’s representative has the right to refuse admission.
9. All music must stop at 11.15 pm with 12 midnight close 11.30 pm with 12.30 am close
10. No alcoholic or soft drinks to be brought into the Centre, unless you obtain prior written consent from the Centre Manager. Failure to adhere to this condition WILL result in the closure of the function and the loss of your deposit.
11. There is a normal drinking up time of 20 minutes on all bar hire. it is against the licensing laws to consume alcohol after such time.
12. When a bar hire is in operation, persons attending the function are not permitted to use the lounge bar unless they are a fully paid up member of the C.C.A.
13. Remember that Calmore is a residential area so please keep noise to a minimum at all times, and especially when entering and leaving the building.
14. Access to the building is not permitted prior to or after the agreed times.
15. YOUR SIGNED ACCEPTANCE OF THESE CONDITIONS WILL INCLUDE YOUR EXPRESS CONSENT NOT TO SUPPLY ALCOHOLIC DRINKS TO ANY PERSONS UNDER THE AGE OF 18 YEARS.
16. An ‘Environmental Noise Control System’ is fitted to the Hunter Hall, the C.C.A. will not accept liability for any damage to the equipment which is connected to the main electrical supply.
